Who Cares About Another Mass Shooting in a School? We have them every other day! People who need to use guns are pussies, Arrest in my neighborhood today, Sarah Chadwick, Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017,The Inevitable Death of Gun Control and only 1,893 Gun Deaths & 3,279 Gun Injuries this year in America!

There have been 31 Mass Shootings already this year.

There have been 18 in schools.

The top 5 mass shootings ever have all happened within the last few years.

Why is this one all of a sudden the one that people care about?

This happens every other day and I am being literal.

What am I saying?

That is a high average because we are not even done February yet.

Like I said after the Oregon one, another day, another mass shooting (http://donlichterman.blogspot.com/2015/10/another-day-another-mass-shooting-in.html).
And, the typical song and dance the GOP puts out there is insane at this point. You know that their thoughts prayers and whatever are with the victims families blurb that is said ad nausea after everyone of these events.

These are real lives. These people are now dead. These kids are dead. And, they happen in random ways. There is no structure. People just shoot people like it is a video game.
Regardless, if Trump truly cared about that issue, why is his ONLY gun-related legislation done to date is to undo restrictions aimed at mental illness.

Please. Come on now. Finally however, someone close to the victims spoke up about it and it was a kid that survived that tragedy. Although, she did know people that were indeed gunned down too:

The beauty of that statement which I am sure was taken down soon after it was posted, but even Trump cannot lash back at this girl.

Look at the up to date stats regarding killings and injuries caused by bullets and guns:

Then the typical adding of guns idea into more peoples hands is the other talking point and notably happening again is the one where we have to arm people in schools. 'We gotta harden up the schools' is what one congressman said which is code words for them wanting more guns in schools. And, adding metal detectors is maybe is what he means too.

We also hear it's not the gun and that its the person with the gun when that's not true. If a deranged kid did not have a gun, he cant kill anything.

That is not so hard to figure out or am I taking it literal here since it is an age old talking point?

Conversely, when a mentally deranged human can get an assault rifle, he can kill things with it.

Same goes with every time someone uses guns and bullets to shoot  people. There is only one constant in every death caused by a bullet and a gun.

That is the bullet and the gun.

No matter what else gets brought up and why it was used, it does not matter because the only scientific constant behind every death with a gun and a bullet is the gun and the bullet.

The type of person doing it is not a constant.

There are many reasons or causes that bring a human to use it. Everything else is all based on opinion.

Hell, we are NOT even allowed to study why people kill things since that department was abolished by Trump.

People refer to it being mental behavior issues. Many use them to kill people because of racism. Sometimes guns go off by mistake killing or injuring whomever. Some use them for crimes and to maybe get revenge for something that went down between each other.

And again, in everyone of those instances and in any other one you can add to that list, the one thing that was always there used to kill whatever person were the bullets and the guns.

Why they get used is secondary to that constant.

Who uses them is also secondary to the constant.

But then in every case where there was a bullet and a gun used, if the human did not have access to it, they could have never have killed anything.

Since the human had access to guns with bullets, they could then kill whatever they want and because of the type of weaponry allowed to be sold to consumers, people can also kill so many people in random ways and from afar like a pussy.

That is the other issue here.

Anyone that needs a gun with bullets are pussies.

Unless you get that weird thrill killing things like animals which I just do NOT get. I understand hunting if you need to save your own life or protect oneself, but to kill for fun, is very odd behavior to me.

Regardless, they would never need guns or bullets to fight their battles if they were not pussies.

You know what I mean?

How much more of a pussy act is to stand far away from whatever person and to shoot them with a gun or bullet or whatever comes first chicken or the egg style?

Obviously you cannot face that person face to face or animal for that matter when you have to shoot it from a far without notice. That is a pussy move. That is ultimate pussy move.

Then, add to that to just shoot up people in random ways like what I picture to be a scene from any Vietnam movie with some yahoo yelling 'It is beautiful, it is beautiful' as he shoots as many people standing still and by merely turning his hips.

It is a joke.

I also just answered my own thing here by describing a Vietnam scene in some movie with a guy using what is military grade weaponry, versus it being on the streets easy for people to buy.

The FBI missed this one too because they did get a call a couple weeks ago about this kid posing in pictures with his arsenal many times on social media. I think there were a ton of red flags. I also think I just heard he was investigated or there was also a time they were determining whether to send him to the mental hospital. He was determined to not be that kind of a threat.

Now in my neighborhood a kid was arrested yesterday for saying something about shooting up a school which much like the 'b' word on an airplane (bomb), do not ever be stupid enough to utter that sentence about shooting kids up in random ways at a school.

That led to an arrest in my neighborhood overnight:

VOORHEES MAN CHARGED WITH THREAT TO SCHOOL – FEBRUARY 16, 2018

SHARE ON:
Jacob Finkelstein, 18, of Voorhees, has been charged with threatening to terrorize students and staff at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees.
On February 15, 2018, police were made aware of an incident involving Jacob Finkelstein where he had allegedly been making false threats during school hours that were heard by multiple students, by stating that he was going to “shoot up the school”.
Captain Carmen Del Palazzo of the Voorhees Police Department reported that no weapons were found at Jacob Finkelstein’s residence during the course of the investigation.
Jacob Finkelstein was arrested on February 15, 2018 and charged with one count of second degree False Public Alarm and one count of third degree Terroristic Threats.
He was remanded to Camden County Correctional Facility pending a court appearance.
All persons charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court of law.
Released Friday, February 16, 2018.

And, if this Jacob Finkelstein is weak enough to shoot up a school with guns and bullets in random ways, well than hell, a 'Minority Report' type of an arrest does work:
Overall and again, why the uproar about this latest mass shooting?

We go through them literally every other day.

There should be a country wide uproar.

These gun freaks have lost their privileges.

Much like they cling to that 2nd Amendment which I agree with 100%, we should listen to it.

I also want the right to walk down the street without getting shot by bullet after some idiot used a gun to shoot it.

I want to walk into a mall and well no I don't but let's say I did go to a mall, I want to be able to walk through it in a safe way.

I want to go to a movie theatre without thinking some dude is going to stand up, turn around and start shooting people in the seats.

I want my niece and nephew to go their school and not get shot with bullets.

I don't want anyone to stop it.

I don't want it to happen in the first place.

And, so with that said, let's go from here knowing that the ONLY constant in every and I mean every death because of guns and bullets and I also mean in the history of mankind, is the bullet and the gun.

There has never been a death by a gun with bullets without that gun and the bullet.

Then, let's get rid of weaponry that is not meant for hunting or to protect itself in our society.

Those 'bump stocks' are not needed.

Those guns that Bush Jr. and Cheney allowed to be legal again (Remember everyone that these types of AR-15's were not allowed to be sold legally until George Bush Jr and Dick Cheney enacted a law during their terms to make them available to consumers) should have stayed illegal.

Also, get rid of that law that gives the entire gun industry immunity from lawsuits.

And, set up national background checks for god's sakes.

Those are the easy things to get done now.

HBO's "Real sports with Bryant Gumbel" sent in a 13-year-old boy to try buying beer, cigarettes, adult magazines and lottery tickets with no luck.
He was, however, able to go to a gun show and purchase a gun and on the first try mind you.

They won't get done but those are common sense things that we can not only get rid of quite frankly, we would have also not been the butt of so many random deaths using those ways and means and weapons to kill everyone since that law was enacted.

We are also preparing to stop the "Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017" — a dangerous gun bill that would gut state gun laws — on the Senate floor this year, and you will lead the way.

Last year, when we set out to inundate Members of the House of Representatives with postcards from their constituents, you and other gun sense champions answered the call, and hundreds and thousands of people across the country signed them. Then, Moms Demand Action volunteers and supporters hand delivered thousands of these postcards to lawmakers offices to make sure your voice was heard, and it made a difference. After the gun-lobby hijacked a modest gun safety bill, the House only narrowly passed the "Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017."

We can stop this bill in its tracks in the Senate and make sure it doesn't get to President Trump's desk. That's why we need your powerful voice once more: Sign a postcard urging your senators to OPPOSE the "Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017."

It's important for us to remind all Senators, even our closest allies, where their constituents stand.

The "Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017" is waiting for a vote on the Senate floor, and because of you, senators are already committing to vote NO on this dangerous bill. NRA leadership knows that their time is running out to pass this bill. And they also know that with YOUR help, we've loosened their chokehold on state legislatures in all 50 states, helped to enact gun safety laws, and defeated their deadly proposals that would gut our existing common sense laws. They're afraid of your power and your voice.

That's why we need you to use that voice now. Send a postcard to your senators: Tell them to OPPOSE the "Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017."

The Inevitable Death of Gun Control: Cody Wilson and the Future of Untraceable Homemade Firearms
On Wednesday, a high school in Parkland, Florida became at least the 18th mass shooting of 2018. The petition addresses connections between the NRA and government officials seeking to weaken gun laws and oversight of gun dealers.

As brought to light by the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence and reported by CNN, the second-highest ranking official at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), Ronald Turk, wrote a white paper in collaboration with an NRA lobbyist calling for weaker gun laws and reduced ATF oversight of gun dealers. The drafting of the report started one week following the 2016 election, and was secretly released the day President Trump was inaugurated.

When more than 33,000 Americans are killed every year by gun violence, it is unconscionable for a leader of the ATF to collude with the NRA to advance its “guns everywhere” agenda.

ATF Deputy Director Thomas Brandon should relieve Mr. Turk of his duties immediately.

In the report, leaked last year to The Washington Post, Associate Deputy Director Turk suggests the ATF should allow gun dealers to sell across state lines, loosen restrictions on gun silencers and more than double the number of crime guns a federally licensed gun dealer sells before coming under ATF scrutiny. All of these policy changes would harm public safety.

Although Turk claims these are just his views, as second in command at the ATF what he believes is sure to have an impact on policy. The report carried the agency seal and Turk’s ATF title. It’s clear that Turk’s intentions were to weaken federal oversight of the gun industry. The original title of the report was “Guns in America – Options for a New Administration” and referenced “securing” Second Amendment rights and “support for the firearms industry.”

As the federal law enforcement agency that “protects our communities from violent criminals, criminal organizations, [and] the illegal use and trafficking of firearms,” there is no place for a senior official whose agenda it is to support the gun lobby by weakening federal gun laws.

Hi! I am a student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS, where the school shooting happened on 02/14/18. I am close friends with one of the victims and I want common sense gun control to be passed to prevent more families from losing loved ones in these terrible tragedies.

Nick Cruz killed SEVENTEEN people, some who were freshman just starting their second semester of high school, others seniors who just committed to the colleges of their dreams. He took away their hopes and aspirations. He should not have been able to carry an assault rifle.

We need to convince our elected officials that now is the time to speak up against the NRA and promote some form of gun control. They should not be worrying about how much money they will make or whether they will be re-elected. Innocent people are DYING because of gun violence. These children and heroes might be alive today. There’s a reason why other countries don’t have mass shootings and as a nation, we should work towards that. Please share this petition with everyone you know. Nobody should have to face tragedies like this.
