NEW RULES: The people in the GOP, and especially Sarah Huckabee-Sanders must stop saying that the majority of voters/people have spoken, unless they mean it!
The new talking point I am hearing now is how the majority of America has spoken. They go on to say how this administration is now carrying out what that majority voted on last year.
This one argument that Sarah Huckabee-Sanders used at a press conference this week, and then this woman on the Katy Tur show used the same talking point a minute ago, is a total lie.
Its misleading because if we do want to listen to the majority of people in the United States, there was over 2 million more votes against whatever Donald J. Trump, and the GOP ran on during the last general election.
Now, if we want to take our cues from the three states that put the race in that direction, than call it for it was because that is what is happening right now.
That is not a majority of American people.
That is because a few thousand more people per each those three states voted a certain way. That is why the Dem's lost that race.
It had nothing to do with any overall (popular) vote because if that is how it worked here in the USA, Trump would have gotten crushed last year vote wise.
Besides, it is almost clear how the administration used the Russians to interfere in the election and notably they keyed on those three states that ended up tipping the election that way.
So let us recap here please.
If the administration did scam their way to win that election in some way and let us even say there was no collusion since that the term is being keyed on these days (even though we all know there was but anyway), let's say the Russians used those three states as where they wanted to market that fake news and those ads that are based on lies.
Those three states are what won the election for Trump and now they are saying that some majority of people spoke their minds when they voted them into office.
It is not true.
It is not only not true, they also scammed their way through it to win (which do not get me wrong, is diabolical but still, it was so shady and not democratic in any way).
The majority of America does not back the platforms Trump and the GOP does.
Nor did they vote for it.
Now, the rest of this nation has to deal with what is going down today all because three states won it for these people. And, they are lying in that delusional way saying that they won some majority which they did if they are only counting the electoral votes and map.
However, this administration did not win the majority of votes in all of America.
As a matter of fact, there are more than TWO MILLION (2,000,000) votes against Trump and his admin.
Let alone against those platforms they are setting in place making the false claim that the majority of Americans have spoken.
We did, but we are not being listened to.
The people that are being listened to are basically spread out over a few thousand majority in a mere three states. Setting aside the typical blue states and red states which when you count the entire map, I get this is a bit off from a scientific POV, but for the sake of the overall argument, and because they are being basic in their actions, I stand by the fact that this admin should indeed listen to the majority of America.
