From the moment they are taken from their mothers as puppies, beagles endure
terrible agony in the name of unnecessary pesticide testing. They spend their
short lives in steel cages inside of a laboratory and never feel grass beneath
their feet.
Behind locked doors, these dogs are slowly poisoned – forced
to swallow pills or eat food laced with chemicals – every day for a year, until
they are killed and dissected.

Buckley endured a miserable life being transferred from lab to lab to be experimented on, eventually leading to his early death. Texas A&M University needs to put an end to the 35 years of useless experiments and procedures that have only resulted in suffering for hundreds of dogs.
