From the moment they are taken from their mothers as puppies, beagles endure terrible agony in the name of unnecessary pesticide testing. They spend their short lives in steel cages inside of a laboratory and never feel grass beneath their feet.

main-feature
Behind locked doors, these dogs are slowly poisoned – forced to swallow pills or eat food laced with chemicals – every day for a year, until they are killed and dissected.

Please help the Humane Society International (HSI) to eliminate this cruel test and spare dogs from needless pain by taking action today.

This cruel and outdated test has been scientifically discredited and abolished throughout most of the world – including in the United States, India, the European Union, Brazil and Canada. The last remaining holdouts are Japan and South Korea – and until these two countries change their regulations, companies there are still legally required to conduct it.

But thanks to the tens of thousands of emails from HSI supporters, and our campaign teams on the ground in Japan and South Korea, government authorities are feeling the pressure like never before and are showing signs of movement in the right direction.

Please act now to help stop the poisoning of dogs in laboratories. Add your name to help push South Korea and Japan to end this once and for all.

Buckley endured a miserable life being transferred from lab to lab to be experimented on, eventually leading to his early death. Texas A&M University needs to put an end to the 35 years of useless experiments and procedures that have only resulted in suffering for hundreds of dogs. Text FAMILY to 73822* to tell the school to shut down its lab.

PETA's mission statement is that animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, use for entertainment, or abuse in any other way:
