Stacey Abrams (GA-Governor). Stacey is the former Georgia House Minority Leader, and the founder of the New Georgia Project, which registered more than 200,000 voters of color between 2014 and 2016. If Stacey wins, she’ll make history by becoming the first black woman governor in the country. Her opponent, Secretary of State Brian Kemp, threw over half a million voters off the Georgia rolls and has now frozen over 50,000 voter registrations.
