For years, experimenter Christine Lattin has kidnapped birds from their natural habitats and then tormented them to induce chronic stress and fear. Some of her methods include rattling their cages so hard that they can't perch, stuffing them into bags, rolling them on carts, and restraining them multiple times per day. This suffering sometimes went on for months, at which point the birds were killed.
Since the results aren't applicable to humans or even other birds, the cruelty of these experiments is matched only by their pointlessness.
Lattin just got a new job at Louisiana State University (LSU), where it appears that she thinks she can continue tormenting birds.
Please urge the president of LSU to ban these experiments on his campus.
Seneca College, Send Your Cows to Sanctuary, Not Slaughter
In order to save the cows, the class set up a GoFundMe page raising almost $3,000 which they were going to use to purchase the animals and then give them over to a sanctuary.
Since the results aren't applicable to humans or even other birds, the cruelty of these experiments is matched only by their pointlessness.
