National School Walkout

Trump administration is turning to the NRA and trophy hunters to determine the future of elephant trophy hunting?

We just found out Zinke's Fish and Wildlife Service is meeting with gunmakers and safari clubs this week to hatch a plan to increase hunting and import more wildlife trophies from Africa.

But we won't be ignored. Please give to our Trump Resistance Fund so we can secure a permanent ban on imports of animals killed for trophies.

It's disgusting to watch Zinke's staff cozying up to the NRA and hunt clubs. They see wild elephants, lions, rhinos and other rare and vulnerable animals as nothing more than trophies to be shot, stuffed and displayed.

Bringing these death merchants to the table will lead to one thing only: More dead wildlife, more trophy hunting and more species on the path to extinction.

Trump Resistance Fund will give us the resources we need to fight for elephants and other targets of trophy hunters.

Last November Trump's administration removed a lifesaving ban on the import of trophy-hunted African elephants from Zimbabwe. Within days the Center sued.

Now his administration has ended any chance of an across-the-board ban — a critical measure in the fight against the steep decline of elephants in Africa. It's the last thing Africa's elephants need.

Between 2005 and 2014, more than 4,000 African elephant "trophies" were imported into the United States. Bringing in the NRA and trophy hunters is a deeply troubling signal that the brutality against African elephants will continue.

We're in court now fighting for elephants, but this will be a long battle. We're committed to keeping elephants safe, and we need your help.

Trump Resistance Fund will give us the resources we need to fight for elephants and other victims of trophy hunting.
