The evil zoo where they drug animals for money.
Recently, I sent my team to investigate the situation at the Lujan Zoo in Argentina. They could scarcely believe their eyes.
At this sordid place, zookeepers drug wild animals so that misguided tourists can pet and pose with them.
My team saw tigers so drugged, they were unable to stand, a lion so befuddled that when fed a piece of raw chicken he could not eat it, but with glazed eyes and drooling mouth sank to the floor in a stupor.
The lions and tigers are drugged every day so that ignorant people can grin into cell phones posing with wild animals that, in the normal course of events, would and probably should, kill and eat them. If that sounds harsh just look at our video.
What makes this despicable, disgraceful and shameful spectacle even worse is that it is totally illegal. The Lujan authorities just don’t care. However, you and I care.
Let’s work together to have Lujan Zoo closed. Every day it remains open is an affront to human decency.
You can probably tell that I am angry. I know you will be too when you watch our video.
I promise I am going to fight this with all my might. The hateful people who drug innocent animals until they are drooling, staggering wrecks must be stopped. As a first step, please share this email. Let the world know what is going on at the Lujan Zoo, post your views on Trip Advisor and other social media and if you possibly can, please give generously to Network for Animals so I can do whatever is necessary to fight these evil people.
Help protect 23 pitbulls! The police were correct to seize these animals!
Target: Chief Justice Jorge Labarga, Daytona prosecutors, United States
In Nov of 2017 police went to investigate a stolen car in Daytona Beach, Florida which led them to the surprise of their life.
When officers entered the fenced backyard, they saw numerous neglected dogs. Among them a 4-month-old puppy and seven newborn pups were found and another six adult dogs and a 1-month-old puppy were in heavy chains, police said. Eight other dogs — seven puppies and their mother — were held in cages, the floors covered with feces. None of the dogs had food. All but two of the dogs that were chained did not have water. And two had water that was filled with debris and dirt, investigators said.
Besides tight collars that had made abrasions on the dogs' necks, some of the dogs had puncture scars focused on their faces, necks and fore limbs, "despite being housed separately." The animals also had untreated open wounds and some of them were malnourished, court documents state. Empty cans of scarex were also on scene. Even a breeding device, which the veterinarian's report referred to as a "rape stand," was found in the backyard, a police report states.
The police seized the dogs immediately and they were taken to Halifax Humane Society where several dogs were treated for injuries. (1) (2)
On February 1, 2018 County Judge Angela Dempsey threw out the city's petition to take custody of the animals after the court determined police violated Noble Geathers' Fourth Amendment rights when they searched his property and confiscated the 23 dogs. Noble and Tiera Geathers could not be reached after getting their dogs back. The Geathers' are not facing charges for the dogs' condition and treatment! See sources for more information: (1), (2)
Anchors of CBS This Morning Celebrate Pig Slaughter. CBS This Morning is a major morning news program that has recently been attracting new viewers with the charm of its anchors. That charm misfired when anchors Nora O'Donnell and Gail King went off-script to giggle about bacon. Many animal-loving viewers have not been able to watch the show since. Bacon is no joke: it means a lifetime of suffering for animals. TV stations have a responsibility to not make light of animal cruelty. TAKE ACTION
