Good cops: Policeman saves chihuahua from drowning
The Fund for Animals community! I am so happy you decided to follow along The Fund for Animals’ journey to rescue and rehabilitate different animals from all over the country.

No other organization does what we do. Our unique sanctuaries in different geographic locations throughout the United States provide veterinary care for thousands of animals every year. Our sanctuaries also offer lifetime care to the most amazing array of animals you’ll ever see from horses to the oldest living pygmy hippo to Tonka, the mountain lion you see here!

The Fund for Animals is a lifetime home for Tonka and hundreds of other rescued and abandoned animals.

After being rescued from the exotic pet trade when he was only three months old, Tonka was brought to one of our sanctuaries to live. Because he doesn’t know how to hunt, he will never be able to live in the wild. But, thanks to friends like you, he’s able to live in a large habitat that gives him the area to roam freely and take part in enrichment activities that help him learn and grow.

In the coming weeks and months you can expect to hear more stories about the amazing animals who are part of The Fund for Animals community.
