30 million reasons why Trump is speaking at the NRA convention

President Trump took the stage at the NRA's annual convention in Atlanta -- the first president to address the NRA in over 30 years. You might've heard that the NRA poured $30 million into Trump's campaign -- and in return, Trump promised the NRA's extremist leadership he'd "never let them down."

Well, the Trump Administration is already fulfilling that promise, doing the NRA's bidding by weakening our gun laws. Earlier this year, Trump signed a bill making it easier for the dangerously mentally ill to get guns. Not long after, he signed another bill that will put our veterans at increased risk for gun suicide.

Today, he'll be publicly revving up support from the NRA's extremist leadership -- and we need to prepared for whatever comes next. Because here's the honest truth: You and I are the only thing standing between an NRA-backed White House and our gun laws.

Fuel the fight to stop the NRA's extremist "guns everywhere" agenda by becoming a sustaining supporter. Even $5 or $10 a month will make a huge impact on our ability to fight back against the NRA's extremist agenda in Washington, D.C. and across the country.
Shut down Trump and the NRA
Here are a few of the dangerous policies the NRA has been pushing in Washington -- policies we need to be ready to fight at every turn:
  • Eliminating gun-free school zones and forcing guns into classrooms.
  • Deregulating gun silencers, which make it harder to hear a gun being fired and protect yourself in a shooting.
  • Forcing all 50 states to recognize concealed carry permits from other states -- even states that have low or no standards for who can carry a loaded gun in public.

Needless to say, we've got our work cut out for us. That's why I'm asking you to help us fight back against these radical policies that would completely gut our gun laws.
