Even though the end of the week ended well off the coast in Taiji, Japan, another dead dolphin has been pulled out of the sea pens.
On October 18th this week in Taiji, Japan, a pod of wild bottlenose dolphins were chased, harassed and driven into the cove. Four were taken for captivity, with the remaining four forced back into open water.
Then, it git worse on december 20th and on my birthday on December 21st. No words can share the grueling struggle this Rissos Dolphin endured after witnessing his entire pod being slaughtered. We chose to share the last image alive before being drowned. Pod of Risso's has been fighting hard for over four hours to escape the hunters. Four hours of unimaginable torture.
