Real Time Wrap Up Tonight!

It is time for the Real Time Wrap Up for tonight's Bill Maher Show!

Guests Tonight are Ed Begley, Jr., Jeffrey Ross, the hottie liberal, Alexis Goldstein along with Ron Christie and Mike Pesca

Bill starts off tonight's show with a Public Service Announcement about a new disease that stems from people drinking camel Urine. Which leads me to say Yummy! Camel Urine!
And, by next week he (Bill Maher) says that we should have three more GOP Candidates which do NOT even include Chris Christie but the 'cunning' convicts could indeed hide out as a GOP Candidate. Evidently, one of the escaped convicts is 'well endowed.' I did not know that about him. But why do we know this about him?

Speaking of a big penis, I guess we all got to see the one on Lebron James. I assume that one is huge but I missed it which I am glad I did. Speaking of big dicks, that cop that went nuts on the girl at the pool party was incredible because I could not believe that 'black people were swimming.' Also, why even repeat what anyone on Fox News has to say about anything let alone about Black People. Megan Kelly said that it was the young girls fault for lingering and that was why the cop shoved her face into the ground while he had his knee pressed into her back as the way to hold her down.

Lindsey Graham does look gay but I doubt he is unless he dabbled with it once or twice at some time in his life. And, after hearing about Mike Huckabee's co author being into having sex with kids, doesn't anyone in that GOP want to have sex with an adult female?

The Interview is with actor and environmentalist, Ed Begley, Jr. . He and his family star in the web series “On Begley Street,” which chronicles the process behind the building of their new house – “North America’s greenest, most sustainable home.” He received six Emmy awards nomination for his role as Dr. Victor Ehrlich on the show St. Elsewhere. Twitter: @edbegleyjr

Ed was by far the first entertainer or actor to go green for real way back in the day. He had an electric car before anyone had one and well before they were even on the market per se. He lived in a sustainable way before anyone did it. I am not sure though, what they are talking about now. They are talking about bees dying. That is indeed an issue today. I guess they are saying that they seem to have narrowed down why it is happening to one precise pesticide. But bee's are very important to our ecosystem. I know its hard to wrap our heads around that issue but it is true. Entourage star, Adrian Grenier has been an activist for the preservation of bees and low and behold, so is/was Albert Einstein. Funny joke was just said about how bee's do a lot for our farms and that they are paid the same amount to do it as humans that work on farms. Monsanto is evidently trying to buy that company that manufactures and owns that pesticide that seems to be killing a lot of bees. I have also never played croquet and I am not sure why we are talking about it now but maybe because people in California have to forgo the use of a front lawn these days. That is because of the drought. And, there ya go. They just discussed what I said above here about Ed being the first to do any of that eco stuff. He bought an electric car in 1970. I had no clue it was that long ago although I do remember people thought he was a kook for doing it. It was on the news and it was even made fun of I think too. Remember too, he was not exactly burning up the acting scene after that initial TV show he starred in back in the 70's which made it harder for him to contribute that way. Now, he has a bunch of money which does make it easier but also, he had an actor wife that I think got a lot of work back then. I forget whom he was married to back in the day and they could be married even still to this day. Maybe they will mention it. I guess not. That was a good conversation.

On to the panel. Bill and his roundtable guests are Ron Christie, Alexis Goldstein and Mike Pesca (with Jeff Ross joining the panel later on tonight). The Panel: Ron Christie is a columnist for The Daily Beast and former Special Assistant to President George W. Bush for domestic policy. He is founder and President of Christie Strategies LLC of Christie Strategies, an independent media and political strategy firm. His latest article is “The Iraq Question Democrats Don’t Want the Media to Ask.” Twitter: @Ron_Christie. Alexis Goldstein is Communications Director for The Other 98% and an organizer with The Debt Collective. She is also a contributing writer to Medium.com’s Bull Market blog, where here latest post is “Student Debt Horror Story? This Consumer Agency Wants to Know.” Twitter: @alexisgoldstein. Mike Pesca is the host of Slate’s podcast “The Gist.” He is a frequent contributor to PBS’s Newshour and also appears on CNN and MSNBC. Before joining Slate, he was a national correspondent for NPR, where he worked for nearly a decade covering a range of topics from sports and pop culture to politics and economics. Twitter: @pescami.

Lets see now. What will be the initial subject matter tonight?

All I can say is that Ron Christie and Alexis Goldstein are on the same panel. That should prove to be Phun for us.

They dive into the pool party incident. That cop was so over the top. No matter what he went through that day. He was way nutty. But with all that lingering going on there, I guess it was deserved. That cop did quit very fast after he was pushed from his job. He also stated an apology via his lawyer rationalizing his actions because because of the stress he had that day while dealing with an actual suicide and with a potential one that was NOT accomplished. I will say it again that they acted quick which was good. It was a far cry from other incidents where cops should have been relieved of their jobs (Ferguson, etc.). That cop had to go. Did you see the way he rolled over to get whomever after did the roll maneuver? I mean for the love of god. He should not have been a cop. Which was the outcome so good for that township and good for that police force. Bill (Maher) also that the McKinney Texas Pool Party Cop Was A ‘High School Loser’.

Bill says that the police officer who assaulted those black teenagers at that Texas pool party incident last week, (Eric Casebolt), is a former “high school loser.” Like I just said tonight, Casebolt has since resigned from the police force after the viral video outed him slamming a black teenage girl into the ground and unnecessarily pointing his gun at the teenagers who rushed to protect her.
They seem to be addressing the Texas pool party as another symptom of America’s struggle with police brutality.
“I’m sure the policeman all across the country, especially the many good ones, are sick and tired of every week there being another video we’re watching. And yet, every week some cop does some crazy sh*t. And the victims seem to be getting all the more innocent. 12 year old kids. Guy running away getting shot in the back. 14 year old girl at a pool party.”
Maher highlights the inappropriate behavior of police by zeroing in on Casebolt’s behavior.
“I’m sure we all know this is the high school loser who wants to re-litigate his sh*tty adolescence by being a cop. Because now he’s got some power he can lord over people. It’s not that hard to weed out that personality type. Is it, if they wanted to?”
Maher then questions why 12 cops were sent to penalize the teenagers at the Texas pool party. They all seem to have found it ridiculous that a dozen police were needed “to do the job of saying, ‘Hey kids, turn down the music.'”

Alexis Goldstein responds to his question by pointing to research from the American Psychological Association that shows cops find black kids older and more threatening than their white peers.

(Ron) Christie, suggests that that young people should be taught to only say a few things when encountering the police, “Yes, sir,” “no, sir.” and “thank you, sir” which I agree with whole heartily because cops are not your friends. But it does not make it right or OK for them to act like arrogant assholes, let alone violent ones. All cops abuse their power in some way. Even if they merely talk down at you in condescending ways.

Goldstein says that such behavior wouldn’t necessarily mean less police brutality. Maher is basically annoyed with Christie’s advice he just gave about it.
“This whole thing where you only say a few words to cops; no, I don’t want to live in a society where I have to be that way to a policeman — he’s working for me, I’m the taxpayer.”
I want to also say that Christie defends his earlier comments, and makes it clear that he viewed the Texas pool party incident “disgusting” and “reprehensible.”

With his usual critique of the Republican party, Maher decids to blame it on the conservative right.
“When are conservatives going to realize that so many of the problems they abhor are caused by the policies they support. Why aren’t there more black kids with role models at home and dads? Because you put them all in jail.”
Goldstein is NOT really giving all the responsibility in the hands of conservatives, noting there are liberal supporters behind mass incarceration too. She brings up the fact that communities of color are over-policed and I say they are overly militarized as well. That of course leads to more people of color being incarcerated as drug offenders even when white people might use illegal substances just as much.

Next issue is about Scott Walker being in the news this week. I honestly do NOT remember him saying what they are discussing that Scott Walker said this week. Something about equal pay and leveling the playing field with everyone in America.
Good point about the 'Bush Tax Cuts' being part of the problem we faced today. That was a huge issue that even I forgot about it. That was a complete debacle that helped in part lead to the 2008 crash in America. I am surprised that Ron Christie is not attacking after hearing that statement which I guess is hard to do because its true. Everyone (GOP, Dem's, Liberals) gets on George Brush Jr. but only really because of the war. I assume because to talk about the war issue is much easier than calling out the tax cuts. Americans are dumb that way.

The ONLY reason that the tax rates need to go up for the highest earners today or soon in the future is because they have gotten corrupt breaks for many years that in turn helped them get richer while its been so hard for the middle classes and lower classed people to thrive in America.

Anyway, here is the 'Be Still My Bleeding Heart' segment they are doing now on the show:
Alexis (Goldstein) seems to like RBG's (Ruth Bader-Ginsberg) body. That was good. Funny stuff (that is when she showed me her pussy, the part about Liz Warren although the armpit hair thingy was a bit over the top and not real but the screaming like a Howard dean during his primary was funny and clever and what would be show and a joke on it without a mention of 'Kaitlan' (Jenner), etc.).

The Mid-Show Interview is with Jeff Ross. A stand-up comedian whose special, "Jeff Ross Roasts Criminals" airs June 13th on Comedy Central. Known as the “Roastmaster General,” Ross has produced and presided over several celebrity roasts – including the recent roast of Justin Bieber. He'll be performing at Amos Southend in Charlotte, NC on June 17th. Twitter: @realjeffreyross. Bill Maher and Jeff Ross discuss the recent criticism leveled at fellow comedian Jerry Seinfeld by politically correct liberals.

I did not know about the roast done in that County Jail system. That is great. What an amazing concept. I am glad he (Jeff Ross) is finally waking up to the prison industrial system we have set up in America. This guy is way behind the curve. He is just also finding out how the California state closed down mental institutions or not closed them down, they consolidated them into the prisons. I guess they have done it also in other states like in Texas. I know LA County's mental institutional is at the Twin Towers in downtown Los Angeles. It has been that way for almost two decades now. Bill touches into the private prisons for profits which is a huge issue why we have them so filled up today. Prisons trade on Wall Street based on its occupants which I of course wrote about ten years ago and we also released the American Drug War: The Last White Hope many years ago too. I wish Bill would touch into those issues more than he does. I also wish he would articulate the problem more than he does tonight and more than he ever did on his great platform. He basically blew off that actor that is in the new HBO Series, The Brink (Esai Morales). He was also in that great film with Sean Penn entitled, 'Bad Boys'. But many years ago on this show, he (Esai Morales) brought up that film I and that issue but then Bill basically blew off talking about it. Bill was like yeah, yeah, yeah. On to the next subject please. I was glad he/they mentioned it but I wish they would have talked about it as a main subject and I certainly wish it was not blown off. But it was that second.

Regardless of that important issue we face in America, the topic about why we (USA) have to be the worlds police to fight everyone like with ISIS is being discussed now. Although, I must continue to ask what would 450 military people do in the broad scheme of life? Not much in the broad scheme of life and so I am not against us sending them over to help out with training. I get they will try to teach the Iraqi Army which is fine. They will be out of harms way and 450 people we are sending there is nothing. However, I will say it again that the Saudi's, the Egyptians, the UAB, the Iraqi's, the Turkish and the Iranians make up hundreds of thousands of military people. They should be able to over take the likes of ISIS which has like 17K or 25K people in it.

I also agree with how wrong does a Dick Cheney and a Donald Rumsfeld have to be to just go away. They screwed up or not really because I think the ulterior motive was to make money. Remember, his (Dick Cheney) Haliburton Company made bank money because of those wars we were in back in the 00's.

Anyway, it is time for New Rules. New Rules folks:

Nude Photos of people were to blame for some Earthquake? OK. And, yes, if whomever uses a selfie stick on a roller coaster, they are idiots. The New Rule about Ghengis Khan bitch slapping whomever during religious ceremony's is funny.

And, did some adult just tell a five year old kid to punch someone in the face during a fight at the Wal-Mart"? That is amazing. Most of all, 'where are they now's' with all public fights would be a great show or segment in some show.

BTW, when those relational ads that had started up years ago at places like Facebook, I thought my book publishing company was doing such a great job with ads to help sell my books. They would show up on my Tacebook page. Then I realized way later on that it was because I was on that page linking my books up to my web site page. I was duped and honestly, why would they promote something you feasibly have anyway? That never made sense to me because I see things I already bought online at my Facebook page as an Advertisement. They place items up that  already bought because that relational marketing database is connected to eBay searches and on Amazon searches. It is all intertwined today.

That is all folks. Please Stay in Touch!
