Real Time Recap!

Bill (Maher) is back in action tonight! His guests are Philip Mudd, Nina Turner, Rick Lazio, Ian Bremmer and Lewis Black! The monologue starts up after a much anticipated return from the show being down for TWO (2) full weeks now.

He knows why we are excited which is because there are ten people now in that GOP primary. He says Rick Perry is not like that guy from 2012 and to refer to him now as Kaitlin

Kaitlan Jenner. I am not sure what to make of that issue. I don't care about it per se but I sort of do. I always have felt that he/she (and that family) could be doing a lot better things with their money than what they actually do with their money. It (Kardashians) is all about getting seen in some way. I just can't be bothered with it. I don't care about them quite frankly but so many people do. I guess they are relevant to pop culture today. He/she (Kaitlan Jenner) was/is the oldest person or maybe it is the oldest woman to now be on the front cover of the Vanity Fair magazine. Because all you need is strength, determination and a penis. Kaitlin does have a chest now which is wild tohave seen, but anyway, Rush (Limbaugh) is against it and Bill knocks him a bit but also, the FDA has endorsed Viagra for females.

Which I don't get what it does although Bill says it makes women more horny. That makes sense now that I heard it said out loud.

And, then of course we have that Jim Dugga (I think that is his last name) molesting kids story. That is an odd story or not odd but the way it is panning out with the media is odd. I cannot tell if the family is for it or against what happened to the girls. Not for it I should say but they seem to refer to it as 'old news' and the girls themselves say that it is borderline a lie. And, that they are not even affected by it today. Those two girls BTW, are rather attractive but they are way older aged today so I can say it. I have never seen that show. I am not even sure what the name of it is and the guys name is Josh. Not Jim. Sorry. Bill also reconfirmed that the girls are on Fox News tonight speaking against how the media is handling the issue. I think that is what they are speaking up against all week and then there is some blonde girl that is or was tight with the family and again, I am not sure if she is against the issue or is ok with it. It is all very odd to me.
Next, the Interview tonight is with counterterrorism expert Philip Mudd discuss whether the United States should allow ethnic profiling as part of its security strategy. Philip Mudd is the former deputy director of the CIA’s Counterterrorism Center and was the first deputy director of the FBI’s National Security Branch. He is the author of The Head Game: High Efficiency Analytic Decision-Making and the Art of Solving Complex Problems Quickly.

That story that broke about the Homeland Security missing 95% of the tests that made it through or by them while at work, is a dandy. But the best one was how someone had fake bombs or hand grenades strapped to his or her back as they still made it through security check points. Bill makes a great joke about being pissed about having to put his weed up his ass. Now that is funny. But yeah, the TSA failed 67 out of 70 experiments designed to test how well agents could actually detect security threats:

An internal investigation of the Transportation Security Administration revealed security failures at dozens of the nation’s busiest airports, where undercover investigators were able to smuggle mock explosives or banned weapons through checkpoints in 95 percent of trials, ABC News has learned. The series of tests were conducted by Homeland Security Red Teams who pose as passengers, setting out to beat the system. According to officials briefed on the results of a recent Homeland Security Inspector General’s report, TSA agents failed 67 out of 70 tests, with Red Team members repeatedly able to get potential weapons through checkpoints. In one test an undercover agent was stopped after setting off an alarm at a magnetometer, but TSA screeners failed to detect a fake explosive device that was taped to his back during a follow-on pat down.

This is a hard interview. Bill mentions that we profile people without telling us and Mudd's reply is that "we do profile people." "We do NOT tell old people to take off their shoes anymore" or something like that is what he says. He disagrees or balks at Israels security calling that airport the size of the one in Delaware. He borderline justifies why the 95% mistakes during these tests because it is a boring job (or a tedious one is maybe how its described by him).

And, yes again it is in part because of how our allocation of resources is warped and is done in corrupt ways. It is about whomever making money and not about our safety. Like what Bill says about us setting up our police forces with military weaponary. Which will hopefully stop being done soon. I think there is a bill onthe books to stop it

But its panel time.

The Panel is with Ian Bremmer is the President of Eurasia Group and author of Superpower: Three Choices for America’s Role in the World. He is editor-at-large of Time Magazine, where he frequently covers foreign affairs. Twitter: @ianbremmer. Former Rep. Rick Lazio (R- NY) is a former New York Congressman and a partner at Jones Walker law firm, where he leads the firm’s Housing and Housing Finance Industry Team. He served four terms in the US House of Representatives where he chaired the Housing Subcommittee of the Financial Services Committee and was Deputy Majority Whip. Lazio founded the website “Ignite,” an outlet for civil discussions on politics, economics and social issues. Twitter: @ricklazio. And, with one of my partners at my non profit (SAN), Nina Turner is a former Ohio State Senator and an Assistant Professor of History at Cuyahoga Community College. She was a candidate for Ohio Secretary of State in 2014, and is currently the Chair of Party Engagement for the Ohio Democratic PartyTwitter: @ninaturner.

How does Bill not know about Cuyahoga, Ohio? I have seen Phish and the Grateful Dead in Cuyahoga Falls for decades now. I am planning on seeing them (Phish) there again in July/August this summer.

Let's talk about the Patriot Act. Nina (Turner) is correct. We NEVER had a debate about what to do about creating the Patriot Act. We reacted to 9/11 and no one debated it back then. It was an over reaction but was it a bad one? I am torn because I Iive my life as if anyone and everyone is watching but then again, does that make it OK? It is a battle I wish not to be a part of and honestly, there are so many corrupt things happening in America, that is borderline down the list. If someone is acting badly, then I get why they do NOT wanna be spied on at all. I get that fact but if you live your life not hurting other people or by not scamming people, you really have nothing to hide.

And, like I said on one of my last Morning Joe recaps this week. Lindsey Graham is scary to me. As far as ISIS, we have no clue today whom they are for or are against today. They did behead like 9 Taliban lately. They are backed by the head of Syria which is actually a talking point for the hawks in America's Political ring. That is because Obama drew that imaginary red line by not going into bomb out Syria. Lindsey (Graham) and John McCain for that matter want to go to war against Syria and they of course want us to fight against ISIS.

I agree with Nina again and I said it this week which is that we need to fix America in so many ways. We need to cut out the spending of whatever billions of dollars fixing roads we just blew up all over Afghanistan and we need to fix our roads, bridges and railway systems. It is NOT normal what we act like in America. Our priority's are way off base.

That is the other issue about the Middle east. The people over there should be dealing with those corruptions and those evils by themselves. We have hundreds of millions of people over in those countries (Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Egypt, etc.). They can fight ISIS. ISIS has like 17K people in it. It is NOT normal because we have to always step in to fight these battles when there are plenty of people in that region that have much more to lose than we do in America. Hell. France has more to lose from a thriving ISIS than we do in America.
Next is the Mid to Late Show Interview is with Lewis Black whom is the comedian who stars as the character “Anger” in the new Pixar film Inside Out, in theaters on June 19th. He is currently performing across the country on “The Rant is Due” tour. Twitter: @thelewisblack.

Disney-Pixar has continued its marketing blitz for Inside Out by releasing another clip from the CG animated feature; check it out here…Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school. What would the voices of Inside Out tell you to do if you wanted to answer a text in the middle of a movie? Joy would probably tell you to answer it, because it might be someone telling you something happy. Fear would probably tell you to ignore it, because it might be bad news. And Anger? You really don’t want to hear what Anger has to say.

As part of Alamo Drafthouse’s series of “Don’t Talk” PSAs, Lewis Black takes his frustration to a whole new level. The actor, who (appropriately) voices the emotion of Anger in Pixar’s summer film, gives you pretty compelling reasons not to pick up your phone. In fact, Black has a host of choice synonyms for such rude behavior, should you choose to engage in texting, including self-caring, self-centered, unsympathetic…well, you get the picture.

I told you above that no one can figure out the Kaitlin Jenner thing and they are discussing that issue again with the so called "Angry" Lewis Black on the panel. Because that is what confuses the hell out of me and not that care about it, but he (Kaitlin Jennerwon't admit to being gay and he wants to be with women while he does still have his penis with decent sized breasts now. Its weird to me but I said that already here and everywhere many times. I don't get why people want to alter themselves that much. Although I do get that if you are a women in a male body, what are you gonna do? And, Oh Yeah. Kaitlin Jenner is a GOP'er. Bruce Jenner was a Republican. I forgot about it. But the GOP driven news outlets have shredded her over the last few weeks.

Whatever. I wish we were not talking about it so much tonight.

We are back talking about Josh Dugger (I just realized that is his name). And, finally, Bill says something about them being the biggest freak show on TV or maybe in the world. I agree. But what are they? Mormons? And, they have 19 kids? I thought it was 16 but so many? And, was she on the Celebrity Apprentice? Was one of the blond women from the reality show hate plus 8 make something or other. I assume that is not correct what i am trying to articulate or figure out but I am trying to for the sake of this writing.

UPDATE -- I am watching The Soup and it turns out I am way off base when talking about that reality show with 19 kids in it. The mother or woman is named Michelle I just heard...ooops...sorry....Or, is it good that I don't know? It may be a good thing....--

I did not know that senior clerics fighting for the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq have issued an instruction banning pigeon-breeding claiming that “the sight of the birds' genitals as they fly overhead is offensive to Islam,” The Daily Mail reports.

Now that is even more odd than anything we have discussed here tonight.

Evidently, the Islamists operating in the ISIS “Euphrates province” that stretches from Anbar in Iraq to Dier ez Zour in Syria published the instruction by the senior administrators of the province, telling pigeon breeders they had one week to stop the practice, or face prison, a fine and public flogging.

“All those who keep pigeons above the roofs of their houses must stop doing this entirely within a week of the date of the issuing of this statement. Whosoever violates it will be subject to consequences of reprimand including a financial fine, imprisonment and flogging,” the document states, as quoted by the Daily Mail. ISIS also demands that locals report anybody who continues the practice of pigeon breeding to the ISIS religious police, Hisbah. According to the order, those violating the ban for the first time will be flogged and fined a substantial sum of money, while repeat offenders will be jailed in an ISIS prison. t was widely assumed earlier, when the rumors about the ISIS pigeon ban began to circulate, that the reason for such a measure was the use of pigeons for smuggling anti-ISIS messages or cigarettes.

However, the document clearly states that the ban “is intended to put a stop to the greater criminal act of harming one's Muslim and Muslim women neighbors, revealing the [pigeon's] genitals and wasting time,” the Daily Mail quoted it as saying.

Wow.

Regardless of pigeons being banned by ISIS because I guess they have testicles that you can see with the naked eye (so to speak), Hillary Clinton did take a serious stance naming names (Chris Christy, Scott walker, Rick Perry, etc.) too, by suggesting that any American over the age of 18 should be automatically registered to vote, and that part of the GOP platform is trying to suppress people from being able to vote. The GOP makes no bones about trying to suppress the vote which I get why they do it or why they want to do it. But to NOT admit that it happens and to throw it over to the fact that minority's have had the largest numbers out to vote in the last two elections, is absolute delusion. They (GOP) make no bones about trying to stop people from voting. They have been arrogant about it. That one guy from PA that said it was part of his 'checklist' in that last election was unreal to hear. Again, they (GOP) make no bones about trying to make it hard for people to vote.

And, finally, it is time for New Rules. New Rules folks!

The Impeachables, Jerry Lewis, Mickey Rooney, ISIS (Pigeons getting scared the second they take off to fly and saying wait a second, that is the Iraqi arm is brilliant), Chris Christy in his softball uniform, another Josh Dugger digg, Christianity (why do people in politics use that 'everyone is trying to stop Christianity card?' (70% of America are Christians and 80% of the people in Congress are Christians) Who are we talking about here? No one attacks Christianity) and I forget what else are the butt of the New Rules tonight!
