During the warmer part of the year, I hardly have anything else for breakfast (the occasional chia pudding or a healthy dessert-like breakfast being the only exceptions). They just fill you with so much energy and make you feel simply amazing.
It must be the insane amount of vitamins and minerals. And if you supercharge your green smoothie with some ground flax or chia seeds (aka extra omega-3s), you’ll be ready for whatever the day brings. Serves: 4
INGREDIENTS
  • 5 kiwis
  • 1 medium apple
  • 2 handfuls (50-60g) spinach
  • 2 cups (500ml) filtered water or coconut water
  • sweetener of choice if necessary
  • optional: 2 tablespoons (20g) chia seeds or ground flax
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Peel and roughly chop the kiwis, core and chop the apple.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend away until smooth.
  3. Taste, add sweetener of choice if necessary.
  4. Enjoy!

ABOUT LUCIEI have been passionate about baking & cooking (and eating) since I can remember. Because of my struggle with weight during my teenage years,

I decided to use this passion to come up with ways to enjoy food and feel good about my body at the same time.
This personal challenge has not only allowed me to lose the extra pounds but also helped me realize that surprising people with delicious, secretly healthy food is my favorite thing to do. And what could be better than sharing the recipes and tips with all of you?
