Updates on Mohan and the Nut Herd!

There has been so much going on in the realm of elephants as of late...

First, an update on Mohan: At the last hearing, the judge in the case asked for an independent veterinary assessment of Mohan. We have just received information that the next hearing will take place on April 30th. We are hopeful that the ruling will be in our favor and that we will be able to rescue Mohan. We will keep you informed as we learn more.

We also wanted to provide a brief but happy update on the Nut Herd (former circus elephants Coconut, Macadamia, Walnut, and Peanut): These four elephants have been enjoying every minute since their rescue, never missing an opportunity to play and relax in their muddy pond. Soon, we hope to have them en route to their permanent homes in our rescue center.
