Real Time With Bill Maher Show Weekly Update

Bill Loves The Barking and he is Not gonna lie about it.

But anyway, he starts off with some V-Day jokes (Valentines Day) but I don't really get the 50 Shades of Grey references. I do remember that the Sons Of Anarchy star was going to star in it but that was changed to whomever the new guy that starred in it. And, that is indeed funny, the segue from the Obama Buzzfeed pictorial and interview into the Brian Williams joke about him being in the picture. I did not understand the jokes about Brian Williams replacing Bruce Jenner and then Bruce Jenner is replacing Rosie (O' Donnell) on the View. That went over my head or I am just make with current events. I also agree with Bill in that Brian (Williams) is NOT coming back after 6 months. The joke about Bill Cosby handing Brian (Williams) a drink the night before he was on the helicopter or when the Berlin wall fell in 1990 was funny. And, wow. I had no idea two more people surfaced with regard to Bill Cosby date raping  them or whatever that claim. But that Boka Haram did was classic too. And, yes. Bill says what I say about the GOP (John McCain and Lindsay Graham in particular) not being able to agree with the POTUS but how could they not when it comes to entering some type of war? What a dilemma they face. Although, they (GOP) would rather it be endless war rather than three years. Plus, we are already spending 560 million in our military and yet Obama wants more. It is like asking the woman how you want it as you are boning her and what would a monologue be this week without discussing Alabama because it is not like they are marrying between a man and its sister.

Robert Kenner, the documentary filmmaker is doing the initial interview tonight. his film, Merchant of Doubt comes out on March 3rd. And, cool, my man David Duchovney is here this week too. he was on Morning Joe this week.

This documentary film sounds great. Its about public deception "Thank You For Not Smoking" style but I guess (not I guess, we know) its done within lots of industry's

And,m wow. I know a family that lost three kids because of a couch fire when it was because of a lit cigarette. that is fucked up\. Wow does that hot home big time. This lobbyist (Peter Sparber) had the general public (and fire department industry) believe that couches caused fires so much, they enacted a law behind it. I know that this particular family had that happen and it was always stipulated that it was because of a couch fire. That is insanity. Regardless, there many industry's that create deception as way to sell it to the public or they demonize it I should say. Like climate and food and acid rain and the ozone layer and asbestos and drugs and sugars in food and this is the guy that made Food, Inc. This guy is actually major. Food Inc. is about how that industry does not want us to know what is actually in foods. I bet I would angry while watching that documentary film. I can;t watch Food Inc. for that reason.

What happened?

They halted the interview for some reason. Bill looked to his left and made a Charlie Hedro joke. I wonder of someone in the audience was a threat to them?

This guy brings up how the Koch brothers spend lots of money to demonize things that would keep us safe. And, yeah. It is hard to change in the same regard Bill mentions and with regard to how we used to have get up to change the channel rather than use a remote control device which in turn hurts the climate some how.

And, the panel session starts up now. Baratunde Thurston is on (author of How To be Black), that woman that is the first CEO of that magazine is on (Zanni Mitton Beddow (she was on Morning Joe I think last week)) and Tom Davis is also on the panel. And, damn. My Phriends are telling me to see Selma which I have a screener of it and I just can't get it going for whatever reason. I am so not into that subject matter but whatever about me. Bill saw it this week and then like we said earlier about it this week, the 'Bama gay marriage thing makes it relevant today. I have seen shows (Phish) in Alabama but I guess I have not really spent that much time there and lets discuss states rights. This is my argument with regard to gun laws by state. They make the dumbest decisions when it comes to them (each state) make their own laws. When a judge has to ask itself what law it needs to follow, a federal law or a state law, that is a serious problem and Tom Davis brings up a huge point tonight. He sates that these judges are not appointed and that they are elected. That breeds (no pun intended while discussing Alabama) corruptness or the fact that they must follow what got the,m elected. Which may not be in the best interest of what happens on federal levels. 70% of that population is issuing the licenses to marry so the panel feels it will follow suit soon enuff. They now bring up how Scott Walker could not agree with evolution and that this admin and that next primary will be a lot smarter if you will, than that last primary when Willard (Mitt Romney) won. I agree with Tom Davis again too. He (Scott Walker) did not deny evolution, he merely dodged the inquiry. He will have to answer that soon enough but forget about beliefs, he must come up with something to say. It sounds so bad when any politician dodges any question or inquiry. They must be able to no matter how they feel about it and no matter how people feel about anything at all, being real is key. I agree with Tom (Davis) again, in that politicians are scared to answer things which is not good.

Next, the head of the FBI's speech which actually was pretty OK (for a GOP'er too...just kidding). He was speaking about race and that you don't have to be a raciest  to think about race or to discuss race. The head of that FBI does bring up the point that we do live a disproportionate society where lots of people of color do get locked up and therefore, cops and whatnot look at all blacks that way. Or people of color I should say. I hate it but I get it. But to have some high official and some white guys say it is finally good to hear out loud. At least its a start and again, it was a very good speech by him. I said that as it was happening this week. I was overly surprised he went that far but it was great to hear the truth and / or someone in that high position being real. Baratunde makes another great point in that someone is not only talking about individual acts of racism per se, to being about a system of racism is an amazing point made by him. He (Head of the FBI) also called for empathy which was great to hear someone on that level. It is indeed subtle as they say.

And, holy sheep shit. They just showed the cops 'cowardly' shooting the Hispanic guy that was running away from them, after he threw rocks but man, that is a gung ho idiot with a gun.  The police culture is one that is filled with assholes that think they can get away with anything and they also mention this gun culture of a country we have but the fact is they should not be cops of they are capable of shooting an unarmed human. I am sorry. That is weak. Those cops should NOT be cops.

And, it is Valentines Day tomorrow.

The spoof tonight is about Fragrances sold and especially on this Valentines Day made up holiday, the celebrity Perfumes like Interruption by Kanye (West) because you deserve it, just not as much as Beyonce which BTW, what the hell is with him and Beyonce? Its very odd behavior that he loves her work so much and that he acts that way because of it. Beyonce is doing just fine. relax and besides, Beck is a real music artist. Beyonce is not. Be real. She has great vox and that is it. I guess she can dance too but to compare her to beck is laughable. But even still. Kanye needs to just chill out when it comes to the career of Beyonce. Its so odd that he does what he does on behalf of her and I assume jay Z whom's ass he is kidding too. I don't really get the Incognito with Uma (Thuman) and Renee Zellweger but i guess they have had lots of work done since I don't even recognize them in those pictures on the screen. Hence the Incognito Perfume name. Of course, we have Bruce Jenner's Transition For Men that is made for whatever and then we have Brian Williams Conflation with Hilary's (Clinton) Inevitable which means we need to 'hold our nbose' and ' get used to it.' Of course we have John McCains Old Spite fragrance. For the man that wants to smell like 'Napalm in the Morning." And, last we have Chris Christy's Enormity for Men. Very funny.

Here is David Duchovny. My favorite of course.

LOL. David Duchovney says that he has a perfume.

We discussed him in great detail on the Morning Joe blog so I will skip my commentary about him again. They do discus how the book we talked about is stare and again, I will let this segment go without my input again. I feel like I am saying the same thing i said this week. I do like its about animals and those welfare and rights but again, I'll let it go for now. Actually, they do talk about how we humans treat animals so poorly (not me but many people have no regard for our beloved animals). I have not eaten meat since the 80's but they do disciss factory farming which of course (no pun meant) I do not feed into but the anti B's they feed the animals harms humans. I was just approached about having a screening for Cowspiracy and some other factory farming movie backed by the Animal Defense Fund organization but I just hate watching those types of films. I back therm but I cant watch it. I cant watch that one that raised awareness about whale captivity (what is it? Blackfish)? and when I saw the Cove, I was so mortified that I contacted the filmmakers that day to say I am going to help change that way of dealing. But that haunts me to this day. I cant watch anything about when us dumb ass'ed humans hurt animals in any way. It freaks me out. Also, I never get sick for better or worse. I agree with bill. I let my antibodies fight its battles on its own and again, I have not been truly sick since I did drugs back before 2001. I never get sick. I never get the flu. I do NOT get colds. I don't get flu shots. Call it what you want but again, I do NOT get sick ever and I mean ever. I never get sick. Maybe after a Phish New years when it was in NYC, but I don't think that counts and it only takes one day away from me. I am fine even that day as far as being able to work and I would go so far to say I am more run down than sick. Being in that gross city (NYC) during 5 days of being around Phish heads is what makes me not healthy. I was NOT sick or run down in Florida or after that run of New years shows. Its only in NYC that have to take one day to revitalize my health or strength.

They are discussing the NY Times article from last week about Obamacare. It states that everything has gone up. I agree. I thought my monthly fee would be next to nothing and it costs me more than I paid before I did Obamacare. I have never used a doctor yet but my monthly fee is way higher today, than it was last year. They should have had a single payer system where everyone pays one rate. This Obamacre was written up by the drug companies and by the Insurance companies. What Bill and the panel are saying now is what I just said. Our health care system sucks. I am NOT sure if its better than it was pre Obamacre, but it always sucked. More people are insured BTW, because its mandated. Of course more people are insured. That is an asinine stat. When money is first and foremost, its gonna breed corruptness. Health care should not be about profits and/or making money first and then whomever's health second or next. And, you cannot have a hybrid single payer system with a profit based one. It needs to be one that is NOT profit based. End of story.

It is time for New Rules.

I agree with the first one. Why anyone claps is weird. Next, the one of about casinos (like that one at the border with the roller coaster ride) is true but very dated and not at all timely unless he just played in Vegas which he may have just did that this week. I forget what his road schedule is but he could have just done shows in Vegas. The SI plus sized model is the next new rule which I agree with that this so called plus sized model is hotter than what is not because that girls was/is totally smoking hot. I do NOT get the Siracha new Rule. I am not even sure of I know what Siracha is but I bet I like it. LOL. Mister meat with Siracha. And yes, the final new rule is about how bad all Nightly News Shows are because who watched them for real news anyway? Not me. I told everyone here that I never watched or saw Nightly News ever.  I guess 9 million people watch Nightly News every night. Ooops. Go figure. Regardless, the Nightly News spent a total of 23 years ALL YEAR on Climate Change. The most important issue of our time and it touched into 25 minutes the entire year. But yeah, when it comes to weather in the USA,  that gets news time, but does anything about climate change get any play? Nope. Good show tonight. thanks and stay in touch please!
