Sony Says to Delay Sale of Playstation 4 in China

Sony will delay sales of the PlayStation 4 gaming console in China, originally scheduled for Jan. 11, due to "various factors." A company source in China told Reuters, Sony Computer Entertainment said in the statement that a new sale date had not yet been determined. Prolonged negotiations with Chinese authorities were part of the reason for the delay. The release would have marked the PlayStation's entry into China for the first time.

Charlie Hebdo had come under threat and was firebombed in 2011 after publishing controversial caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad. We begin our coverage of the Paris attack with a discussion between two guests: Tariq Ramadan, a professor of contemporary Islamic studies at Oxford University and one of the most prominent Muslim intellectuals in Europe; and John R. MacArthur, publisher of Harper's Magazine, which in 2006 became one of the first U.S. publications to reprint the controversial Danish cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad that sparked international protests.
